A friend in need is a registered Non-Profit and Public Benefit Organisation (NPO 020 566 , PBO930009231))
We run a feeding scheme, distributing weekly food parcels to 284 families for whom this often is the only food that they will receive all week!
A Friend in Need continually identifies needs in the local community and try to address them. Currently, we have several other programmes running as well:
- Feeding scheme
- Winter Warmth Scheme
- Library Service
- Kitchen and Food Programme
- Swannieville Young Stars Sprots Club
- Annual Christmas Party for underpriviledged children
We believe that both being, and having friends may have a positive impact on somebody's life.
